Bucket List Check-In

 We are 2 weeks into summer holidays now (eek) and so I thought I would do a check-in to see how our list is progressing and to add a few items we have since thought of.

Here is an update:

• Go to a farm
• Go to a park with sand and have a picnic (Nick's words)
• Go to a Zoo
• Go to the beach
• Go to Old Marina Restaurant (Meg's idea)
• Take Nick to his first movie (Finding Dory)
• Go to St. Jacob's Market
• Read at least 2 books (I want to for myself)- getting there!
• Go to Storybook Gardens in London
• Go out for ice cream at DQ.
• Go to the library (Nick's request)

New items:

• Go to Niagara Falls 
• Go to High tea (Meg's idea)
• Bake banana bread (Nick's idea)

Summer 2016 Bucket List

Summer is here! Here is a list of activities we hope to accomplish this summer between soccer games, camp and a week at a cottage.

• Go to Old Marina Restaurant (Meg's idea)

• Go out for ice cream at DQ.

We also have a few birthdays to celebrate and as you will notice, we accomplished one of my bucket list items already!

7th Anniversary- Kingston Style

We celebrated our 7th anniversary in Kingston and decided to try out The Rustic Spud. If you're in this area I would definitely recommend it!

We both ordered garden salads and then shared these ponados. Yum!

For our main courses Dan ordered veal. He enjoyed it but we both agreed that my main course is a must try! I ordered sweet potato gnocchi. Omg! So good!

Our actual anniversary falls tomorrow on July 4th but between highway drives and soccer we knew we couldn't squeeze a dinner out too.
