Bucket List- Final Review

Summer 2016 Bucket List:

• Go to a farm
• Go to a park with sand and have a picnic (2 different ones)
• Go to a Zoo (African Lion Safari)
• Go to the beach (3 of them!)
• Go to Old Marina Restaurant
• Take Nick to his first movie (Finding Dory) We also saw Secret Life of Pets and I saw Bad Moms.
• Go to St. Jacob's Market
• Read at least 2 books (I ended up reading 3!)
• Go to Storybook Gardens
• Go out for ice cream at DQ
• Go to the library
• Go to Niagara Falls 
• Go to High tea
• Bake banana bread 
• Go to Riverside Park in Guelph

New addition:

• Go-carting (Dan's idea)

We ended up completing everything on our list. What a great summer it was! Hope all of my teaching friends and all the kiddos out there have a wonderful school year!

Keepsake Rocks

Last summer we brought home two rocks from The Pinery in Grand Bend as memory rocks. Then we brought home one from Long Point Beach and two from Marble Lake where we rented a cottage this summer. I see many more rocks coming home with us in the future. I thought I better find a jar to keep them safe. 

I found this cute jar at Dollarama for $1.50. It comes with the label and a piece of chalk. I also write on each rock to remember the date and beach we visited.

Summer Bucket List in Review

I am really happy that I made a bucket list this summer. Summer can often slip away fast and I found it kept me accountable. Nick contributed to it which made it even more special!

Here is an updated list as we approach mid-August:
