  • I sold my wedding veil and donated my wedding dress to Gina's Closet
  • E and I took all 4 kids to the mall for some shopping and lunch.
  • The long weekend took us to Ottawa for C's Baptism and to Kingston for some visiting (including brunch with the V's!)
  • I registered Nicholas for JK. Ah!
  • I had dinner with A and M. Indian food yum!
  • We had a big play date with work friends who are all on mat leave!

If I could keep you little...

I recently received this book from Marg. It will choke you up and give you goose bumps. The main message is that we can wish for our kids to stay young forever, but if that was to happen, they would miss out on so many wonderful things in life.

Enjoy now, but enjoy what's to come too.

Melissa picked me up a frame at IKEA and here it is showcasing my Rome print from Chapters. Now where to get Dan to hang it...

1st Birthday Sneak Peek

Nathan doesn't turn 1 until May but I like to pick up things when I see them on sale. "Green and Blue" is the theme.

Zingo!

Nicholas received the game Zingo for Christmas and it has been a HUGE hit. He plays with us or can even play on his own. He has no idea how much he is learning with this adapted version of Bingo. He is associating pictures with words and now he even reads all of the letters before he puts the chips back in the holder. They contain lower case letters too which is improving his letter recognition.

Next week I register him for JK... sniff sniff!

Baby eczema

Nathan had quite awful eczema on his legs at the beginning of Winter. My doctor suggested trying olive oil instead of medicated creams. I tried it and didn't notice any real improvement. I also tried vaseline but didn't think that was working either. I opened up this bottle of cream one night after bath and within a few weeks his eczema cleared up!
